Parents are really involved in our learning with wonderful activities such as

Stay and play

Parents can come in, join and interact with their children at the nursery. They can see first hand what their children are doing and learning.  See the daily routine and the exciting activities and resources that we offer. We organize these sessions every half term.

Parent's workshop

Twice a year we deliver parents work shop. Our work shop includes, early maths, messy play, early writing and importance of physical play for the children.

Annual trips

We arrange a day trip once a year for the children and their parents.

We have been to Lego land, Chessington world of adventure and the farm.

Coffee mornings

Every term we invite parents to a coffee morning. We discuss up-coming events, children transition to primary school and any other things parents need to discuss.  They shares their ideas and thoughts

Local outings

Often we take the children on local outings.

We go to the shops to buy things, go for a walk in the park/woods.  Go for a ride on a bus, go to a local train station, go for a walk along the high street to observe different types of establishments and objects, for example a bank, Post office,  fire station,  a pelican crossing, zebra crossing, cash point etc.

Sports day

All the children participate in our sports day.

They race each other in different events, like the bean bag race, egg and spoon race, obstacle course and more. There are also parent’s races. All children get a medal for taking part.

Loan Library

We have Nursery library, where the children are encouraged to choose a book to take home. Then when they are finished with the book they bring it back.

Annual Fun day

We have a yearly fun day, where the staff, children and their families can spend the day together having fun.

Playing games, face painting, lucky dip, bouncy castle, Tombola, etc.

Wonderful Wednesday

Every Wednesday parents are invited to join in our story time session where parents can also read to the children.

Home learning packs

These packs are activities that the children take home to continue their learning.

Graduation day

We have a graduation ceremony for our children who are moving on to primary school. The children dress in a graduation outfit, they are rewarded with a trophy and a certificate.
