Welcome to Baby room Elgin
Our Baby Room is spacious, and warm with calming neutral colour throughout
offering a tranquil, balanced and comforting environment. Our dedicated practitioners
help our babies to settle, feel safe and happy.
Babies are offered a variety of open-ended materials, sensory toys, wooden and natural resources
which encourage creativity and imagination.
Our well-planned interest areas include a creative area, messy play area, role play
area, and cosy corner, encouraging exploration and discovery which are all used to
help children learn and develop. We are pleased to provide our babies with a baby gym soft equipment, as well as lots of textures to explore.
What's special
Music and Sports
Every week babies enjoy sports sessions outdoors. They are introduced to lots of different ways of movement whilst crawling through tunnels, under and over bridges, hand and eye coordination by passing balls to each other and a lot more.
Sound and tunes. Children's listening skills and phonological awareness begins with sound. Making music with alternating high and low sounds is something our babies love and truly enjoy. Weekly sessions of Music are also available for our baby class and they are a great success.
Facilities
Our Babies play enjoy calm and comfortable space with relaxing music, environmental sounds and amazing lights and colours. The room has touch/feel materials and busy boards for critical thinking and early brain development.
Building superstructures with tubes, pipes and tunnels. Elevating and levelling, running cars and balls through them is just brain building through problem solving.
Curriculum
Being around the nature is the best start for everyone in their early years. The touch of all natural objects develops children's sensory experiences and their ability to describe what they feel.
