Our Management Team
Our staff are highly qualified and experienced, and their professional development is important. They access training from awarding winning local, national and international experts, such as Claire Warden, Dr. Eunice Lumsden and Laura Henry.
We actively encourage our staff to transfer their knowledge into practice.
The staff at Loving Hands are central to the Loving Hands approach.
Sandra Henry – Group Owner / Manager of Leander Road
I have been the owner and manager of Loving Hands nursery since September 2005.
My role as owner is varied, from making business decisions to connecting with the children. I am responsible for all operational and regulatory aspects, building a vision which is shared by the whole team. I manage by effectively leading, inspiring potential and will engage my team to deliver exceptional care and education.
I love to work in partnership with my parents by developing a parent advisory committee to facilitate communication, share information and allow parent input. Alongside my management team, I spend time leading by example within my staff team to reflect on practice and improve on the quality of care and education.
I am always keen to continue my professional development for myself and my staff team.
I love what I do, and I am 110% committed to my staff, children and families.
BA (Hons) in Childcare
Diploma in Management
I have previously worked in a variety of Managerial Positions, most recently for the British Transport Police in the Prosecution Department
Jyoti, Manager – Norbury
I am the manager of Loving Hands Norbury.
I have been working in early years since 2002 and achieved Early Years Teacher status in 2014.
I have worked in variety of work places including Day nurseries, schools and children’s centres.
I am enthusiastic, passionate and a hands-on manager. I am always prepared to go that extra mile to improve and develop the care for children, parents and staff. I am highly organised and have a positive attitude.
I constantly strive to enhance the practice and the environment that we provide. I have continued to professionally develop myself and the more I read and listen to research the more motivated I become.
I love seeing children complete a task that they have been struggling with or see staff complete a new qualification which makes a difference to their practice.
In my spare time I like watching movies, reading, tidying up, completing a fitness session, healthy cooking, and gardening. I often enjoy attending weddings and lately I have been enjoying travelling.
